ML320 Mod 98 rear glass fog resistance is not working

my rear glass fog resistance is not working the switch turns orange once pushed to on mode but the resistance doesn't work.
is there any procedure or steps to follow to fix this issue.

have you checked for voltage at the rear glass connectors?
