Experience with air shocks to spring kit designed for mod on 05 E320 wagon
 

Just recently converted the rear air shocks to properly designed springs. Job came out good but there was an issue with the camber being effected resulting in accelerated wear on the inner part of the rear tires. Found another nifty kit that allows you to adjust the rear camber. Purchased and installed it, took it to my alignment guy and he nailed the alignment on it.

I would recommend this modification to anyone that is interested in going "old school" springs. How many years have springs been used reliably?

Car drives good at 240k miles and is a pleasure to drive. I won't ever have to worry about the rear end dropping on this car ever again:).

I installed air-shocks myself on all my Cadillacs and a Lincoln immediately after buying them back in the '70s. They're the best value play, and too easy to install.

I don't suppose you would be inclined to share some of the pertinent info about the parts that you used, now would you?
Stuff like manufacturer's names, part nos., sources, other vehicles covered, etc., etc.
I think we all realize that for the most part, folks on this forum are mostly interested in chrome and bling, however there are a scarce few with dirty hands who do appreciate the functional hardware.:D;)

Arnott Industries sells spring kit. Camber kit came off of ebay. Pretty ez install.
