2015 E350 Trunk emblem removal
Is this guy just glued down?

Yes, the newer cars are glued down, while the earlier cars till the mid 90's had a couple of posts that matched up with holes in the trunk lid and had clips on the inside that held it on.

Try dental floss to separate the emblem from the paint.

Heat it up with a blow dryer and use the floss. It'll come right off.
