600 SEC running rich, something messing with air fuel ratio

Hi,
so after I can see no wires touching from my MAFS, something still messes with air fuel ratio pretty drastically, I think it is related to drivers side MAF because when I disconnect it it runs rough (but due to open loop mixture without the MAF data going to the ECU) but better than with it connected also its sometimes hunts at idle just a bit (no ASR ABS lights), so what else is in that circiut or where else does the ECU gets its calculations from? I guess it could be o2 sensor or coolant temperature sensor- which is part of my question- can o2 sensor or coolant temperature sensor affect air fuel ratio drastically enough to make it go crazy like in my case? I can definately tell its running on all 12 cylinders and smooth enough but it sputters in the exaust quite a lot due to bad combustion caused by overly rich mixture. Prior to this condition it ran suprisingly fine for a while.

What else could be causing rich air fuel ratio (I base my information from cluster board computer test output which indicates fuel consumption in liters/hour) or timing (knock sensor?)or whatever it is?

thanks for any answers
