City Lights. Incandecent to LED. pics

I mean 'incandescent'.

One of the city lights on my 190 burned out so I was looking for a replacement. Found a bunch of LED's so I figured why not. Got them today and put them in. Big difference. Can use them as DRL now.

Can you see the LED lights during the day when the sun is bright though? My experience with those LED bulbs is that they are totally washed out when the sun is out. Actually after spending some time with trying to "upgrade" my interior lights with LEDs I've come to the conclusion that the halogen bulbs are a lot brighter. The LED bulbs that are on the new Lexus, Acura, Audi, BMW, etc are extremely bright. Oh, and the LED lights in those large black flashlights. :-)

I put them on in the afternoon and they are definitely more visible in my opinion than the old incandescent that were in there. The color is different so that might be what 'washes' them out but I think they will be visible. The C250 has the LED's and I think mine are now brighter than those.

LED's are much like bolts, they come in all sizes.
If what you put in doesnt provide enough light, put in a higher output LED.

My turn signal LED's I have noo problem seeing ... standing by the trunk at noon.
