1988 420SEL Throttle Body Stop Adjustment

Im working on a 1988 420SEL and im trying to fix someone else mistakes, tons of vacuum leaks incorrect adjustments

Anyways i pulled the throttle body out and found that someone adjusted the throttle body stop, with the throttle closed it doesnt even touch the stop screw.

How can i get this adjusted properly, anyone have specs on adjusting this or can i throw it away and buy a new one.

Thanks

Set the stop screw to hold the plate just free of sticking in the bore.

Okay thank you! How should the throttle position switch be set? Or how can I check it. 3 pins on the plug which pins do I use to measure resistance at for idle part throttle and wide open throttle to make sure it works. Thanks

Closed throttle: Pin 2 - Pin 1, 0 ohms
Open throttle : Pin 2 - Pin 3, 0 ohms

Pin 2 is grounded. The switch simply grounds two different circuits.
