300CE random stalling
My 300CE has stalled out on me twice this week. It usually happens when the car is cold and hasn't reached operating temperature. First time while exiting parking garage and going up ramp the car just quit immediately. Second time when coming to a stop and foot on brake. No stutter or hesitation the engine just quits like someone turned the key. Any ideas what would cause such a immediate stalling of the engine?
It hasn't done it when the car is hot so I was wondering if mixture is possible too lean? I have changed OVP about 4 or 5 years ago. The fuel pump relay was also changed about two years ago. A search revealed potential problems with the rear crank position sensor and similar failure patterns with engine quitting like key was turned off. How do I go about testing it on a M103 and where is it located? What readings should I get for a good CPS?
