Another issue with my c230. Any help
 

I have another issue with my 2005 c230 kompressor sedan
Was driving stopped to grab a coffee and than all of a sudden car would not start back up. Got it towed back home and we changed the starter. Car would still not start with key fob in the vehicle. We were able to start it directly from starter underneath with key turned all the way. I took out all the fuses in the back of the vechile and put them in and than the car started up normally. It was Very weird. I drove the car for a boot on the highway incase it was the battery to charge it a bit.

This morning I went to start car with key and nothing would start. Car is dead. Radio turns on and im still able to use fob to open doors etc.

Now before you say its the battery we were able to jump start it with the starter. I replaced batterys in key fob. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Seems like a security setting or am I totally off
