Oil - How old is too old.
I bought some Redline manual transmission oil for one of my cars few years (~10) back but never ended up using it. I just stored it.
I am thinking of using it now. Question is is it a good idea to have use oil that old? Would the oil lave lost any of its properties. Or, can I give it a good shake and use it? Thx.

No change, the properties of the oil will be unchanged / unconsumed.

Newer oils might have some chemistry benefits, but is it bad? No.
