w210 power seats and power windows
I need some Help I just purchased a 1999 w210 E300 , I had the battery disconnected for a bout 2 days for service . now the power seats do not work correct after reconnecting the battery they work fine but over night the next day they do not . To get the power seats to work again I must disconnect and reconnect the battery.
Prior to service the windows worked now they do no work smooth one has to hold the switch just right and the drivers side sometimes does not work at all. the rear windows work just fine . Erich. T. |

Follow the procedure in the manual to reset the auto-up-and-down feature for the windows. The rockers are five-position with off in the middle, first position either side of off is normal up and down. Push to the second position in either direction and they won't work until you re-synchronize them. (If you don't have a manual you can download one at mbusa's website.)
There is a reset procedure for the seats, let me see if I can find it. |

The seats stop working over a space of time like over night they do not move . I have tried to re set by holding in each position for 10 sec this does not work . The seats work move only when I disconnect and recommend the battery
