PMV,
Seems like I have about $50,000 in tools mostly from Snap-on & Mac tools. For weekend repairs you can get some good tools from Sears, but if want real Quality buy the best!! There is always at least one more tool that you'll need to get the job done.

PMV,
I still work on Mercedes autos every day. I have about 40,000 dollars plus in tools and spend about 3 to 5 thousand a year to maintain this set and to keep current.
