BOSCH 005 545 5132 Installation
 

I have to replace BOSCH 005 545 5132 in my 1994 E 320 sedan. What care do I need to replace with identical used part? What does this unit do for the vehicle?

2) You do not know its function.
3) And yet, you are intent on replacing it.

Thanks for your response. I know it is a ABS control module computer for 1994 E320. I am not sure if it needs any special care during installation and what exactly it does. I was told by mechanic that it needs to be replaced as vehicle is not starting.

I missed to mention that this unit has one more number on it: 0 265 101 5132.

The first # you gave is a Mercedes # , the second is a Bosch # . ABS is Anti Lock Brakes and I doubt that a failure in that module will keep the car from starting.
