I replaced the cam adjuster and that didn't seem to help. I do have an update. Ive been taking more notes and paying more attention to when its happening. It seems like it only starts making noise after it hits around 82C. After it this this temp it starts ticking and tapping/Rattling. What Ive noticed is that when I have the car in DRIVE you hardly hear it. When I put it into Neutral or Park you can hear it no problem. So it seems like in gear it doesn't do it as loud or at all. Can someone please explain the science of this? I just need to understand how having it in gear kills the noise and in Neutral it acts up. I really want to see all my options before I take it to the stealership or a mechanic. Thank you.
