W114 AC Blower Motor
 

I realize that the A/C blower in the 114 is small. However, I can't believe that Mercedes would have designed an A/C blower that puts out minuscule volumes of air. With the external intake closed and the fan set to highest speed, my 72 250C's a/c puts out very little air.
What air it does put out is quite cold, and opening the cowl vent allows an enormous amount of air to move into the cabin. This outside air mixes with cold. However, the airflow slows to nothing when the car is at a stop.
Am I missing something here? Is the blower fan not working properly?
