560 sec rear shocks, SLS Removal (Please Help)
I am new to this site and cant figure out how to find info, So I am asking here, I have a 1990 560sec, I want to take the SLS / Rear shocks off and install standard type shocks, I am sure the car will set lower in the rear, But thats OK as I am wanting to lower the car all the way around anyway, Does anyone sell shocks to do this or does anyone know what shocks will fit, ( Please ) I am not wanting anyone to try to talk me into keeping the SLS, That is not what I want to do, Thank you.

A-L:
The struts may be removed and replaced with conventional springs and dampers. The springs will have to be replaced. Why? Because at least half of the spring load is carried by the strut, and the springs that are installed with the struts are very soft. Use springs and dampers speced for a 380 SEC w/o SLS. |

Frank Reiner, Thank you so much for your help, What year 380 SEC should I buy the springs and shocks for, Also I was hoping to lower the car 2 or 3 inches, So should I buy aftermarket lowering springs for a 380 or will my soft stock 560 springs work for that, Or will it just set on the ground.
