W124 courtesy lights acting up + current draw
Researching a problem with high current draw when parked (0.08 amps) over fuse C in the fuse box, I discovered an issue with the courtesy lights on my W124..
The front left (driver's) door works just like it should. The rear left door will light up like normal when that door is opened, but any other door will give just a very dim glow. Both right doors will only glow very dim, even when that specific door is opened. The convenience functions on the front doors (seat, windows etc.) work like they should - on with door open, off when door closed. The door switches are checked and they all look fine. Function OK, no significant corrosion. The convenience relay (small 40A) in the relay box will click whenever the power to the fuse C circuit is restored. Any ideas, or does anybody have a wiring diagram for this for a '95 124 wagon?

0.08 or 80ma indicates a light on ... glove box, truck under the hood ?
How are you measuring the 80ma ?

The usual way of measuring - multimeter connected in series between battery negative and ground.
![]() Haven't thought about the glovebox light, but will check it out! Thank you! I think the courtesy lights have some sort of ground fault as well..
