1988 300 E blower for heat and ac not working
 

Hello, I recently purchased a 1988 300 MB. I have several problems I would like to get assistance on if available. First of all I can push any button on the control panel for the heating and A/C and nothing happens with the car on. I figure the blower must be bad or a electrical problem. Where whould I start in troubleshooting if I have a bad heater/ac blower or electrical problems? Secondly, My back windows will not roll down. I have checked the child safety switch to make sure it's not on and also taken both back swithes apart to make sure they were working correctly and do. I have heard that the window motors are bad to seize up. Is this true? If so, what can I do to repair them myself?
