Does anyone actually know what scanner is used for finding and erasing trouble codes in airbag and SRS systems (after repair is made)?
It is usually passenger child seat sensor pad causing the problem.
I definitely will Junk this POS car before letting a dealer rob me.
I bought an Autel 619 $140 and tried the OBDII method which didn't work and returned it maybe needed a 38 pin adapter?
Now ordered a Carsoft 7.4 multiplexer $49 and to find out works on older laptops with R232 connection with Windows XP and not on USB with windows 7 or will need special adapters and programs and still may not work.
If you are one of those "Know it Alls" who hasn't actually experienced or resolved this, you are not needed here.
I will try to DIY this problem and post when it is solved.
