Slk 200 passenger window fault so roof will not open
 

Hi .
I have a 2004 Slk 200 K
The passenger window won't open//close. The window is not fully engaged at the top so I am getting a draught/ whistle at speed. The electric button does nothing . No problem with the driver side , this works fine . The main problem as a result is the roof will not open . The boot opens and the motor sounds as if it's working but then it stops .
Could this just be problem with the window motor or an issue with the roof .
Would like to have some understanding before I take it in as I am not using a Merc garage .
