1991 420 sel timing chain question
what mileage required to change timing chain.can I get away with changing guides without chain at 112k

Its generally accepted to replace the chain at 100K.
You can try to save money by skipping the chain but bending valves is exponentially more expensive. |
Guides are far more critical to me if you are on a budget.
