door lock problem 420sel
 

drivers door lock will not turn with key at all,all other locks work with same key.i sprayed a bit of wd40 in,no change.do I need to take door panel off,or can I get to lock via side of door?


any ideas?

Unscrew large phillips screw in door jamb behind plastic cover. Push forward on door handle.

Same idea as in following video, but the W126 has only one screw and also has another plastic cover below that which has an electrical connection (alarm) which goes to the door handle.
