having my top hydraulic cylinders rebuilt and need to know the total amount of fluid to order for a complete refill.

1 qt should do it

Been through 5 sl500 complete rebuilds, never needed more than 1 qt.
Unless you emptied everything out by flushing every line, valve block, and pump. Only needed if stop leak was added to system
Then 2 qts would work
