Replacing drivers side lower control arm for a friend. Ordered a Lemforder brand and the hole where the strut / spring mounts is a straight through hole. The problem is, that the original control arm has a tapered hole as seen in the attached pics. Ive searched world pac, ebay, and pelican parts. I cannot find this 'tapered' hole control arm. Any part numbers? Or direction i should pursue?

If not, I may be left with taking the control arm to the dealer and hoping they can solve the conundrum.

Does the part that fits into the tapered hole have a taper? Is there a chance the old arm had a loose nut causing the attached part to walk around beating out the aluminum?

I called the dealer. Found a control arm. The strut also has a tapered fitting
