Seller will do local pick up only. Looking for someone local to Las Vegas to facilitate shipping to me in Atlanta. Map attached shows location of hitch. Let me know. TIA

As a last resort, a consideration could be U-Ship. Very likely more costly than traditional carriers, but an option nonetheless. I've used their services twice - once for a very old, very HEAVY wooden and brass bedroom set, and again for a large amount of solar panels. The individuals doing the actual transporting gave info on how to real-time GPS track them while in-transit. Being a technology geek, this was cool as hell :-) Good luck. Hope it gets worked out for you.

Have you considered Greyhound Bus Lines? They used to be perfect for odd ball items. Obviously you have to deliver to the nearest station that has routes to your city and on the other end, one has to pick up the item at the bus station. Just a thought.

I'm not in LV but if the seller is willing to drop it off at a UPS store / FED EX Office the can wrap and ship in one stop.

i'm guessing the seller doesn't want to be bothered and the OP wants forum member in vegas to do him a solid.....i've actually had amazing luck talking people into shipping stuff they originally didn't want to ship

UPS/FedEx would probably cost a medium fortune. With Greyhound, I don't think one has to wrap it, just securely tie a shipping label of some sort on it. Remember this is just a guess. I haven't shipped anything by bus for years.

Fed Ex / UPS only require that sharp edges be wrapped in cardboard / tape. I've had 5 ft long bent exhaust pipes shipped that way without issue.

And of course, I've missed the point. The seller apparently doesn't want to be bothered shipping it. If I were the buyer, I'd keep looking somewhere else.
