				AC compressor brands for W210

I found some A/C parts for sale locally but have not yet bought stuff for my W210 (its compressor is becoming noisy) One of them was a Four seasons branded new AC compressor that can fit most mercedes with the variable compressor like a W210 has. There was also a "NEW" brand compressor with the same fittings but had a different shape to its case. Anyone here use one of those? - Im getting it for 100 dollars - new in box item - I can find original Denso for about 260/-

get the denso. it will be correct with no mods needed. any thing else is a crap shoot. just 'cuz it's cheaper doesn't make it better. good luck, chuck.

2X. The mechanic I work with said no to Four Seasons...I think he said it was a Chinese manufacturer?..will have to check for certain?... I bot the Denso for the 2 or 3 he's replaced and have had no issues.

Don't forget you will need a new receiver drier. Just get a Denso. Then you can forget about the system for years - only requiring the intermittent top up. Resist getting a used unit. You may find one has been sitting in a bone yard for years and the seals have dried out. When you install it leaks like a sieve. |
