2005 E320 Ash Tray Door, Right AC Vent
 

Well, the ash tray door is not broken, but the mechanism that operates it smoothly when it is opening and closing is messed up and I can't see how it comes apart.
I am also not certain of the replacement part from the factory parts diagram of the dash panel parts. Any advice would be helpful of course.
I need to replace the right AC vent as it has become broken inside. The exterior plastic parts are fine; it's the vent vanes and the air control knob.

I suppose this is Secret Knowledge; I will consult Mr. Snowden or Wikileaks...

Randy, contact the Parts Department at your local MB dealer. The tech will be able to print you a copy of the parts diagram for both to aid in your diagnosis of each problem.
