aux fan wont automatically turn on
 

So my 190e 2.6 has been close to overheating in stop and go traffic. I noticed that the fans dont come on when they are suppose to When the car gets to about 102 or 120. I tested the fan by shorting the two pronged blue aux fan switch. i hear the relay click and the fan works fine. But it wont do it automatically. Help. Im new to this forum business.

Sounds like the temperature switch isn't closing at the correct temperature. I would replace it.
