W211 fuel rail disconnect

All,

Trying to disconnect my last electrical connection to the fuel rail to I can take out the intake manifold of my M272 engine.

I cannot seem to figure out how the electrical connect on the left hand side of the fuel rail disconnects without breaking it. I have the plug part disconnected but the "body" of the connection is still attached to the metal rail.

Anybody?

Got it. It just pulls out towards the front of the motor. It was really stiff.

Hi Norm...I've attached a link to the W211 tech articles page. You'll be able to find info on anything/everything related to the W211 if you're choosing to go the DIY route. I hope this will be useful for you in the future. Best of luck!
