W124 4matic-body shell reinforcement?
Wondering if the 4matic had a body shell or at least floor pan strengthening? Are the bodies the same? Often wondered, but never heard. Gotta be someone who has run across this before...thanks

The floor pan is different to accommodate the t-case, and I do believe that the lower seat frames are also slightly different as a result. I'm not aware of any additional strengthening. They're already built like tanks.
