Will Bilsteins From 190e 2.6 Fit 2.3?

Will original Bilsteins from a 190E 2.6 fit my '87 2.3?
Is there a different in front to account for the extra weight of the 2.6, and would this matter?

All W201 cars can use the same FT & rear struts( shocks).
