which terminal on the coil, 1 or 15?

15 should be very close to what the battery has when cranking-ie 11v at battery, 10.5 or higher at 15.

1 i've never tried to measure actual voltage as it is a trigger from the ezl prompted by the crank sensor. i've only used a scope on the crank signal at the ecu and never a reason to check coil 1. good luck, chuck.

Looking at the coil the large out of the two screws is earth .Check it out is it fixed to the bulkhead above the ezl .Need to say what engine you have is it the m103 ? And as above post said 12 volts should be at the coil .Dont check the king coil [large one in centre ] with ignition on You get 35.000 volts from that point .Enough to give you wings for sure.
