Listen to what is being said - don't even waste your time looking at this car.

The seller is a liar and a crook. He lost his license and almost went to jail in NY State, barred from ever owning a car dealership in the state again. Whatever.

I'm not marrying the guy, I do like the car and I've got a friend in the business who will shake the car down for me. If he's got the paperwork on the car, if the parts he says are in it, great.

What I wanted to know from the forum folks was stuff to look for on the car, like the seat modules and what to expect to go bad like the valve cover gaskets.

Ugh, this isn't a super rare car owned by a more or less harmless eccentric that you need to tolerate.

There are enough issues that have been brought up with the deal that it _WILL_ end up going bad. ( Flood car , crash , failing engine / trans , lost title , lien on title , the seller not sending the title to the state and keeping the $ that should be sent to the state. ) I don't give anyone off kilter my business as I refuse to support them.

What goes bad on a 2002 C320 ? I'd say everything, that way what isn't broken is a bonus.
