Looking for SDS/DAS3 in San Jose area
 

I need to check transmission codes in this '98 E320 with DAS3. It uses the round connector in the engine bay. It doesn't work through the underdash OBD port. The closest kind person I know is 50 miles away which is a difficult trek for this sick puppy. Is there someone closer? Please PM if you can help. Name your price!

Why don't you go to the dealer. I think they give "short" tests or something like it.

Smythe is not a good place to bring anything more than 5 years old.

I assume "Smythe" is the dealer and yes MB dealers don't care about us but they will run a diagnostic and tell you what's wrong. Or you can buy a $900 Xentry system and do it yourself. :)

$900 is a lot more than I paid for the car :) I have t decided that I want to get into later models so I'm holding off on special tools.
