123 clocks interchangeable?
 

I have a tach that is jumpy and a clock that doesn't work in my '84 300TD..I don't really care about having a tach and would like to just change the combo tach/clock for a large clock like from an older 123 car.....will it just plug in when I take out the combo gauge?
It would be very helpful if anybody knows the answer to this simple question,

The single clock in a 240D will work fine in a 300D cluster, it just require a 12volt Positive. I have two that I replaced with the clock/tach's out of 300D's, want one?

If it is a working clock, I need it..I can find power for it somewhere if it is not in the 1984 plug..

PM your address. the Red 12v + wire going to your current gage will work fine.
