13 Digit Chassis Number W111?
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I am a newbie to the forum but with a couple of older Mercs, thought I should start to get active! I am trying to arrange a datacard for my w111 220sb. It is an original one owner car (apart from me) and I would like to check all the numbers. The problem I have is that it has a 13 digit chassis number and not 14 so MB is struggling to look it up. Photo of build tag attached. Any thoughts on this and how I might retrieve the data card? Cheers Pete |
This is the body-Nr., not the chassis-Nr.
Chassis-Nr. stamped on the body & on the on the plate under the hood. |
This is about where it would be -
