Hood Liners

Before I put back the 2 hood liners (which by the way are quite dirty - never cleaned ~ 70k, usingplastic push-on clips: MB # 000-990-7892) do you have any advice on how could I clean them. I don't want just to wash them - they feel soft I guess they have sound absoption material in between. Any feedback is appreciated.
