Vacuum Check valve W126 300SE

While replacing vacuum line connectors I broke the nipple of the check valve shown in the picture below, was able to glue it back in, but it needs to be replaced. It's located on the psg side fender wall, close to the headlight.

Would this be the right one: Pelican Parts - European Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche • BMW • Mercedes • Volkswagen • Audi • Saab • Volvo • MINI ?

These are some others I've found: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/S-mart.cgi?command=review&history=catalog

Thanks.

I popped the hood on my '91 300-SEL. I see the 2 valves you outlined in your photo. Mine have MB parts numbers and some other identifier on the bottom side. It's dark and I was using a weak flashlight. The numbers appear to have faded with age.

I will take another look when I have better light in the A.M. and let you know what I do or don't see.

I appreciate that, the numbers on mine are impossible to read. But don't take it of to have a better look, the nipple is supper brittle and will break. I found one at the JY and it broke instantly as well when I took it of. The only numbers I could read on the one at the JY were the first six numbers: 001 140 XXXX.

On my '91 300-SEL - the check valve within the red box of your photo is black on one half of the check valve and bluish-gray on the other - part # on back side is 001 140 17 60

The one next to it is beige on one half of the check valve and black on the other - part # on backside is 001 140 49 60. The beige may have been white 26 years ago.

WEB research on another site brings up part # 002 140 84 60 when I key in 001 140 17 60. Here at peachparts 17 60 & 49 60 still show as valid part #s.

Cleaning the part # side with a Q-tip and water helped to clear up the part #s. A stronger flashlight also helped.
