Is the part number for a 1991 Mercedes 190e 2.3 8v, 5 speed front drive shaft the same for the 1991 2.6, 12v, 5 speed front drive shaft?

Ok Silvester it might help with , what is front driveshaft ? i thought your car was a rear wheel drive so would have rear drive shft right and left And centre propshaft to transmission from rear diff Is this what you call the front drive shaft ?

It's a two piece drive shaft. Betting he means the front section that goes from the center bearing to transmission. That's the piece that would be different if you were doing a 5 speed swap.
