Throttle valve switch replaceable?
 

87 16V. Can the the throttle valve switch be adjusted? Mine makes no contact at idle. Is the switch available by itself or do I have to buy the complete throttle body?

Also, in an old post M.B. Doc mentioned fault spots in fuel mixture housing sensor (air flow sensor position indicator?). Is this common and how would this effect driveability?

The V-8 switch is available, but the 4 and 6cyl's are not. You have to buy the whole throttle body.
