Newly acquired s124 4matic, no forward gears.

I just brought home what I believed to be a parts car. I needed it for the front axles only. Problem is that this car is a bit too nice just to part out.

With transportation costs I am in to this car about $1200. I believe this car just needs a b2 piston "kit". Anyone have any insight to how hard it is to fix?
