I just installed a window regulator in a 1995 S 420 and now the auto feature is not working in the window. I tried re set this feature by putting the window in the up position and depressed the window button for 2 seconds and did the same with the window in the down position, but nothing happened to reset the auto feature.

Any ideas

I just replaced my regulator and I noticed the same thing. I also notice this when I disconnect the battery to work on the car.

I reset mine by taking it all the way down and then taking it all the way up and then hold the button for 2 seconds, it works for me.
