The hood on my 1987 300SL fits poorly. The lower lip running around the back has lifted slightly exposing the locking pin. Where the hood attaches to the lower part of the passenger and drivers window seals in the area of the chrome plate the hood is pulled and mis-shapen. These problems make the hood look at bit shoddy.

Are there any easy adjustments or methods of straightening out these hood problems?
