1998 W202 Intermittent Wiper Question

Hello, I just purchased a 1998 43 AMG, which is my first gas Mercedes purchase. I am having an issue with the intermittent wipers, they only seem to work on two speeds but has three clicks on the switch. The first two clicks are the same speed, and the 3rd is obviously faster. It seems I do not have the first delayed wiper setting. I see on the earlier models the relay is usually the culprit, but I have the yellow semens relays under the fuse box cover. Of course the fuse box lid does not have them marked, and I've grown quite frustrated trying to find which relay is which. I saw that they all had the same part number, so I swapped them around, which did not solve the problem.

I noticed that the wiper is hitting the driver a pillar windshield seal, so I need to find out if the wiper is the correct length. Could that be causing my issue? Has anyone had this issue on the later c class w202?

Your car might have have a rain sensor that looks through the windshield. ( in the rear view mirror area ) Apparently, the sensor ages, and thinks there is water on the glass. It uses an LED and receiver to see water.
