Fasten Seatbelt Light Stuck On
 

Howdy,

Just recently the Fasten Seatbelt light on the dash has started staying on whenever the car is on. Nothing putting weight on the other seats, and my belt is firmly fastened. I've tried pushing the seatbelt firmly into the buckle to see if the added pressure triggers it to go off, but the light hasn't even flickered. Nothing else has functioned unusually in the car, a 1978 280E. Any advice on what it might be, how it might be repaired, etc. would be very appreciated. Thanks
