W140 moonroof in my W126
 

Swapped the old sunroof out for a W140 moonroof, if you're familiar with the mechanics of the sunroof it's a really easy swap, took me 3 hours including retrofitting the sun shade with the right fabric. The W140 mechanism arms are entirely made out of metal and less prone to break over time and it works perfectly and looks awesome. It makes the interior even more spacious, the only drawback is that the sun shade bows in the front when closed, it's just cosmetic and I will have to find a solution for it at some point.

There is some wind noise and I can feel a draft of wind coming from the sunroof when I go over 40mph, looks like the seal specific for the W140 will be in order.
