With all respect for Pelican otherwise, the claims of Coverking on the subject of fit are not substantiated in practice. A recently purchased cover for a '86 126C is not a good fit, especially compared to the old cover. Even after allowing the new cover to relax all the storage and shipping wrinkles, it still has areas that are too tight, and other areas that have loose folds.
If Coverking were to be interested, I would loan them my old cover to use as a pattern in making a replacement for the one I purchased thru Pelican. I would get a better fitting cover, and Coverking would get a better pattern. |
