I would like to change the climate control on my 86 16V to those found on the Euro MB's. The Euro climate control I am refering to has round turn style knobs (much like the BMW's) as opposed to the buttons on the US models. Does anyone have any idea what this would involve. Also any ideas where I might be able to find a Euro climate control?

I think the Euro models are not automatic at all, so I think you would have to replace EVERYTHING involved in the whole heating and AC system for the buttons to be compatible.

I was worried about that. I wasn't sure how feasible it would be to change it over. I do like the Euro style much better though. What I really need to do is get my hands on a Euro climate control so I can see how alike/dislike they are.
