Vacuum Leak M112 04 E320 Help Identify Part Please

I've had stumbling and occasional engine shut off ever since I bought this 04 E320 wagon a year and a half ago. I made a smoke tester today and found a leak in the rear of the engine. I'm not sure what this is that it is leaking out of. The first 2 pictures are from tech articles here. I've circled the part in blue. It is on the left (driver) rear side of the intake manifold. Also, the one part of it moves in and out. I'm guessing it is not supposed to do that. The part looks similar to the cigar lighter.

It looks like the part is replaceable versus replacing the whole intake.

Here is a video of the part. I was able to pull the middle 'plug' part out by pressing the tabs.
