280E Value?
 

I found a 1981 280E with a legitimate 66,000 miles. Body and interior are perfect. Auto trans seems to shift firmly.

Are there any ideas what this thing is worth? Any tips on what to look for? I would like to convert the ignition to electronic if possible.

I could always pull out the gas motor and put a 300D engine in it, right?

Thanks a ton. I already used the search function and found little on the value of this model.
