Low battery message and lights flashing on interior

Wife left lights on all night on 06 Mercedes e500. Car started and after running for 15 minutes message cleared. But interior lights under rear view mirror and on ceiling will not stop flashing. How or when will they stop? Concerned that it will drain battery.
